Every piece of content we create for clients involves writing - social captions, video scripts, website pages, articles, case studies, email sequences. It's baked into everything we do.
The difference? We don't write from templates or churn out generic copy. We listen first, then write.
Our team has a journalism background. We know how to extract the good stuff - the stories, the insights, the way you actually explain things to clients - and turn it into copy that sounds like you on your best day.
What We Write
Website Copy
Service pages, about pages, landing pages. Clear, structured copy that communicates what you do and why it matters.
Articles & Blogs
SEO-focused content that builds authority and answers the questions your clients are already asking.
Case Studies
We interview your happy clients and turn their experience into proof that sells.
Social Media Copy
Captions, hooks, calls to action. The words that go with the visuals.
Email Sequences
Newsletters, nurture sequences, announcements. Copy that gets opened and read.
Video Scripts
The prep work that makes our Credibility Clips sessions run smoothly.
How It Works
Copywriting isn't a standalone service we sell separately. It's part of how we work with clients.
If you're on a content marketing retainer, copywriting is included - we handle the words as part of your ongoing content production.
If you're doing a Credibility Clips session, we write the interview questions and can help with captions and descriptions for your videos.
If you need a one-off project like a website rewrite or a set of case studies, we can quote that separately. But most clients find it makes more sense to bundle writing into ongoing work rather than treating it as an isolated task.
Why Journalism Training Matters
Most copywriters come from marketing backgrounds. We come from journalism.
That means we know how to:
- Ask the right questions to draw out the real story
- Identify what's actually interesting (not just what you think you should say)
- Write in a way that's clear and direct, not stuffed with jargon
- Find the angle that makes your expertise compelling
It's why our clients' content sounds like them - not like every other business in their industry.
How much do copywriting services in Melbourne cost?
Most of our copywriting sits inside a content retainer, which starts at $2,000 per month and covers writing across your website, articles and social. One-off jobs like a homepage rewrite or a batch of case studies are quoted on the brief. We also run content strategy at $1,500 to start plus $1,000 per quarter to set the direction the copy follows. Tell us the scope and we give you a real number.
What kind of copy do you actually write?
Website copy including home, about and service pages, long-form articles and blog posts, case studies and client stories, email and landing pages, and social media captions. Basically the words that carry your business online. We do not do technical manuals, legal drafting or academic writing, so if that is what you need we are probably not your best fit.
What does journalism-trained mean for my copy?
Our writers were trained to interview people, check facts and write to a word count on deadline. In practice we get the real story out of you instead of guessing, we do not invent claims we cannot stand behind, and we cut anything that does not earn its place. It is the difference between copy that says something and copy that just fills space.
Do you use AI to write the copy?
We use AI for research and first-pass structure, the same way we use spellcheck. We do not hand you a raw AI dump with your name on it. A trained writer interviews you, drafts it and edits it so it sounds like you. If a machine could do this job on its own, you would not be reading a page about why the writing matters.
Can I get copywriting on its own, or only in a retainer?
Both. Standalone briefs are welcome, whether that is an About page, a set of case studies or a launch email sequence. Plenty of clients start with one project, see how the writing lands, then move to a retainer so the voice stays consistent across everything. No pressure to sign up monthly to get a one-off done well.
Where are you based, and do I need to be in Melbourne?
Our studio and team are in Essendon, Melbourne, and most of our clients are local professional-services businesses, member associations and community soccer clubs. Being local means we can sit down with you. That said, the writing works over interviews and video calls, so we work with clients outside Melbourne too. Call us on +61 3 5911 1208 to talk it through.
